Reese - 19 years old at the time of the incident. He was in and out of juvenile hall since the age of 12, when he was arrested for stealing a bike. Born to an affluent upper middle class family, Reese's life changed dramatically after his parents divorce and he subsequently moved in with his father.

Blair - 18 years old at the time of the incident. A pregnant drug abuser, Blair was the product of a broken home and lived much of her childhood with her mother's sister. She was sexually active at a very young age.

Drako - 20 years old at the time of the incident. Drako was arrested at 17 for possession with the intent to distribute a variety of drugs including methamphetamines. Nicknamed "Puff" by his friends, he was known for being a heavy drug abuser and dealer from a very young age.

Max - 16 years old at the time of the incident. A recent transplant from Michigan, Max was an outsider and loner, who became part of the group that night on a dare from his only friend, Drako.

Dalton - 20 at the time of the incident. Dalton was a high-school drop-out. He spent several years in Juvenile Hall and was recently out on probation. His criminal record is lengthy and began at 10 years old when he attacked and injured his father with a knife.

Sareen - 18 years old at the time of the incident. An orphan of drug abuser parents, Sareen was adopted at six by her then foster parents. She suffered from learning disorders and was receiving treatment from a court appointed child psychologist for several months prior.

Casey - 17 years old at the time of the incident. Introduced by her new friend, Blair, she was the stranger in the group that night. Casey was there reluctantly, enticed by the idea of "a good time," and finally fitting in.

Barry - 19 years old at the time of the incident. Barry was the clown of the group. Failing out of school, his only pursuit was finding a "good time". For Barry, that meant drugs and girls.
